CARNAGE ANNIHILATION 2009
Carnage Events is pleased to announce that Carnage Annihilation 2009 will take place on July 25th and 26th at Warhammer World in Nottingham. Carnage Annihilation is a two-day, twenty-four player Warhammer 40,000 ?Annihilation? tournament consisting entirely of four player all against all games. Entrants will require a 1250pt Warhammer 40,000 army to enter.

Players must be sixteen or older to attend Carnage Annihilation 2009.

Entry to Carnage Annihilation 2009 will be priced at £35.00 and will include lunch on both days. Entry to Carnage Annihilation 2009 is detailed on the Carnage Events website which can be found here.

Carnage Events is also pleased to announce that Carnage Apocalypse 2009 will take place on August 22nd and 23rd at Warhammer World in Nottingham. Carnage Apocalypse is a two-day, twenty-four player Warhammer 40,000 ?Apocalypse Doubles? tournament for teams of two players. Teams will require a combined 3500pt Warhammer 40,000 army to enter.

Players must be sixteen or older to attend Carnage Apocalypse 2009.

Entry to Carnage Apocalypse 2009 will be priced at £70.00 and will include lunch on both days. Entry to Carnage Apocalypse 2009 is detailed on the Carnage Events website which can be found here.

Jenny Brady, an artist based in Dublin, is looking for gamers to help her with a Group Exhibition which will take place at the The Lab Gallery, Foley Street, Dublin.

Specifically Jenny is looking for two gamers who might be interested in displaying their armies for between 3 to 10 days and possibly playing against the other person - the result of which is to be displayed in a perspex box as a diorama would be in a museum.

The Hunt For Gollum:
The fan made "Lord of the Rings" movie "The Hunt For Gollum" was released today.

It's a free, non profit movie available here: http://www.thehuntforgollum.com

"The Hunt For Gollum is an unofficial not for profit short film by a group of enthusiast filmmakers. As a Lord of the Rings Fan Film, we are not affiliated with the Tolkien Estate or New Line Cinema and are producing this project as an entirely non commercial film. As with other fan films we are making this purely for the enjoyment of the material and the experience of making a high quality low budget film.
[...] Production began in early 2007 when writer-director Chris Bouchard started adapting the script from the Appendices of The Lord of the Rings.
[...] As a non-profit production, the entire film will be released online for FREE download only on the internet on www.hunt4gollum.com"
