We're pleased to announce that the Wayland Games weekly newsletter is back and in full swing.

Work For Wayland
Always wanted to work in war games?
Good, because we're looking for three Warehouse Assistants. But this isn't just shelf stacking, we need you to take names, numbers, process orders and serve customers in our store while offering excellent customer service and taking a personal interest in the development of your role within the company. Think you've got what it takes to be one of our war games champions? Then we want you!
These will initially be part-time (20 hours a week) based at our Warehouse in Southend in Essex. You will be trained in all of our operations that take place in the warehouse. This includes, order processing, customer service and serving in our retail store. We intend to move these part time positions to full time within 3-6 months. There are various specialist areas that if interested, a new member of staff can involve themselves in. If you have any particular skills that you want to bring to our attention then we are all ears.
We are looking for keen, motivated and personable staff. Wayland is a fun place to work and you get to be surrounded by games all day long.
If this sounds like the role for you, then email your CV and covering letter to and we will take it from there.

Brothers and Sisters,
The time has come once more for you to gather in strength, to pool your resources; to share your wisdom; to test your mettle. Let no man or woman of the Holy Orders hold back from this portentous gathering of our kind, for ours is the purest of wars:
We are pleased to announce that this year's Inquisitor Grand Tournament will take place at Warhammer World on Saturday, 26th March 2011.
The event brings together Inquisitor players from across the country to compete in a series games, with prizes on offer for those who score the highest. Entrants will be scored in three categories, Game Mastering, Playing, and Painting & Modelling.
The briefing pack containing full details of the event is now available from the Dark Magenta website;

Tickets are £10 in advance until 14th March, or £12 on the door.
